KUALA KANGSAR: Malaysia menjadi negara pertama di dunia berjaya membentuk kilang minyak sawit pintar berasaskan Kecerdasan Buatan (AI), menerusi pelancarannya di sini, hari ini.
Menteri Peladangan dan Komoditi, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani berkata, teknologi yang dibangunkan AIREI Sendirian Berhad itu mentakrif semula kecekapan dan tenaga lestari dalam sektor minyak sawit Malaysia.
Inisiatif itu jelasnya adalah langkah inovatif ke arah kemajuan industri dan pemeliharaan alam sekitar bagi memanfaatkan industri sawit.
Pelaburan teknologi AI ini melibatkan kos pembangunan berjumlah RM5 juta, dan dijangka mampu mengurangkan pelbagai kos operasi sehingga RM2.6 juta setahun.
“Saya difahamkan bahawa menerusi pengenalan AI, banyak kos dapat dijimatkan. Contohnya kos tenaga, kos utiliti, dan paling penting mengurangkan kebergantungan kepada tenaga kerja asing sehingga 35 peratus.”
“Sekiranya teknologi ini dapat dikembangkan untuk digunapakai 446 kilang minyak sawit diseluruh negara, saya jangkakan pengurangan pekerja asing dapat dikurangkan sehingga lapan ribu orang. Ini satu jumlah yang besar,” katanya.
Jelasnya, teknologi AI juga mengurangkan kehilangan minyak dalam pemprosesan, menerusi indikator yang menghentikan operasi sekiranya berlaku sebarang kesilapan.
Selain itu, pengenalan teknologi yang memerlukan kemahiran juga membuka ruang kepada lebih ramai graduan tempatan mempunyai peluang pekerjaaan berpendapatan tinggi.
“Saya akan terus memantau perkembangan kilang ini, bagi melihat hasilnya dari masa ke masa. Teknologi ini perlu mempunyai ketahanan untuk satu jangka masa yang panjang supaya boleh diperkenalkan kepada pemain industri yang lain.”
“Saya sudah memohon keizinan dari AIREI untuk berkongsi ilmu dan kepakaran kepada pemilik kilang lain supaya insutri sawit kita akan terus mampan,” jelasnya ketika ditemui selepas melancarkan Kilang Sawit Pintar Pertama di Dunia berasaskan AI, di sini.
Untuk rekod, sistem inovatif AIREI mengintegrasikan empat komponen utama untuk mengoptimumkan prestasi kilang iaitu Sensor Lanjutan, Kamera Litar Tertutup Berasaskan AI, Sistem Kawalan Berasaskan AI dan Penyelenggaraan Ramalan.

KUALA KANGSAR, Nov 19 (Bernama) — Palm oil mills in the country have been urged to use artificial intelligence (AI) technology for palm oil processing, thus reducing cost and increasing revenue.
Plantation and Commodities Minister; Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani said Minsawi Industries (Kuala Kangsar) Sdn Bhd’s palm oil mill here, which utilises AI technology provided by AIREI Sdn Bhd, can serve as an example to other palm oil mills.
“This is a first in the world where a palm oil mill uses technological advancement that adopts AI incorporated in its sensors and some of the predictive tools to process palm oil.
“If this technology is effective, the system should be looked into by all stakeholders in the industry. We have 446 palm oil mills (in the country), but this is the first one to incorporate all these technologies including AI and, sensors,” he told a media conference after launching the AI-based smart palm oil mill, a collaboration, between Minsawi Industries and AIREI, here today.
Also present were AIREI Sdn Bhd founder and chief executive officer, Surendran Kuranadan and Minsawi Industries directors Datuk B. Sahadivanaidu dan Datuk Kili Rathna Raj.
Johari said the palm oil mill, via the AI technology used, is able to reduce its workforce, especially foreign labour; by about 30-35 per cent, thus prioritising local talent to handle the technology.
“Hence, such a big mill can reduce its workforce by 30-35 per cent and also gain efficiency in terms of oil processing, besides increasing income and maximising production.
“Secondly, as the number of workers can be lowered, it can save nearly 35 per cent in overhead cost,” he said.
Johari said he was also informed that other costs would also fall with the reduction in foreign workers, including energy, water utility and administrative costs.
“If all 446 palm oil mills in the country adopted this technology, the number of foreign workers could be cut by nearly 8,000, which is a large figure,” he added.

KUALA KANGSAR – Sebuah kilang sawit di sini mencipta rekod tersendiri apabila menjadi yang pertama di dunia yang menggunakan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI).
Menerusi teknologi tersebut, beberapa kemajuan yang dapat dicapai ialah meningkatkan kadar pengekstrakan minyak sawit, mengurangkan kebergantungan terhadap tenaga manusia, menjimatkan penggunaan tenaga serta sistem pemantauan operasi.
Menteri Perladangan dan Komoditi, Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani memuji kilang Minsawi Industries yang menerapkan AI dan dilihat mampu meningkatkan produktiviti sawit.
“Saya menyokong teknologi ini. Setiap tiga bulan saya akan memantau, apakah kesannya tetapi, apa yang telah dimaklumkan kepada saya, ia boleh menjimatkan banyak kos termasuk kegunaan tenaga manusia terutama pekerja asing,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas melawat kilang itu di sini hari ini.
Beliau berkata, penggunaan AI juga boleh menarik rakyat tempatan untuk terlibat dalam industri sawit dengan penawaran kerja yang berkemahiran tinggi.
Katanya, jika kesemua 446 kilang sawit di seluruh negara menggunakan teknologi itu, ia dapat mengurangkan kebergantungan kira-kira 8,000 pekerja asing terutama di kilang sawit.
Menteri itu berkata, beliau dimaklumkan pelaburan untuk menggunakan AI tersebut adalah kira-kira RM5 juta dengan jangkaan penjimatan RM2.6 juta setahun. – KOSMO! ONLINE

“Dengan teknologi yang ada, ia boleh mengurangkan pekerja dalam kilang terutamanya pekerja asing hampir 35 peratus.
“Kilang ini juga menambah efisiensi dari segi pengeluaran minyak, memaksimumkan penghasilan dan dapat meningkat pendapatan,” katanya selepas melancarkan Kilang Kelapa Sawit Pintar berasaskan AI Pertama di Dunia dekat Minsawi Industries dekat sini, hari ini.
Tambah beliau, penyelenggaraan ramalan menggunakan algoritma pembelajaran mesin dan data sensor untuk mengurangkan masa henti dan mengekalkan prestasi yang konsisten.
Johari berkata, jika semua 446 kilang kelapa sawit seluruh negara mengguna pakai teknologi AI itu, 8,000 pekerja asing boleh dikurangkan sekali gus membantu penjimatan operasi.

Turut hadir, Pengasas dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Airei, K Surendran.Johari berkata, sistem inovatif Airei mengintegrasikan empat komponen utama untuk mengoptimumkan prestasi kilang merangkumi sensor lanjutan, kamera litar tertutup berasaskan Al, sistem kawalan berasaskan AI dan penyelenggaraan ramalan.
“Sensor lanjutan diipasang di seluruh kilang untuk memantau parameter kritikal seperti suhu, tekanan dan prestasi peralatan, membolehkan pengumpulan data masa nyata untuk meningkatkan kecekapan.
“Kamera litar tertutup berasaskan AI dipasang secara strategik untuk mengesan jumlah tandan buah segar (FFB) dan mengenal pasti anomali operasi bagi memastikan pemantauan yang lancar.
“Sistem kawalan berasaskan AI mengautomasi proses, mengawal operasi, dan menguruskan sumber untuk prestasi maksimum berdasarkan analisis data masa nyata,” katanya.
Beliau menambah, penyelenggaraan ramalan menggunakan algoritma pembelajaran mesin dan data sensor untuk mengurangkan masa henti dan mengekalkan prestasi yang konsisten.
Katanya, jika semua 446 kilang kelapa sawit seluruh negara mengguna pakai teknologi AI itu, seramai 8,000 pekerja asing boleh dikurangkan sekali gus membantu menjimatkan operasi.
Ditanya kos awal bagi mengintegrasi teknologi AI itu kepada kilang sawit, beliau memberi contoh Minsawi Industries yang berkeupayaan menghasilkan 45 tan setiap jam dianggarkan menelan belanja RM5 juta.
“Namun kilang ini bukan baharu, ia sudah beroperasi 41 tahun. Jadi, mereka (Airei) ambil alih kilang ini, ubah infrastruktur, kemudian menggabungkan teknologi ini.
“Saya rasa ada hampir 185 kilang seluruh negara yang mengguna pakai sistem lama. Banyak kilang lama yang tidak mengikut spesifikasi persekitaran semasa, jadi jika mereka mahu menaik taraf kilang, saya cadang mereka lihat kilang ini,” katanya.

(江沙19日讯)种植与原产业部长拿督斯里佐哈里阿都干尼,鼓励国内棕油行业人工智能(AI)化,这不但可以减少劳力依赖及开销,同时可以提高生产力!
他披露,国内共有446间大小棕油厂,倘若全面採用人工智能技术,预计全国能减少8000名外劳。
佐哈里阿都干尼今日在霹雳州江沙Minsawi棕油厂,为全世界首个採用人工智能技术的棕油厂主持开幕后,对媒体说,这间工厂如今可减少30至35%的外劳,与此同时,粽油出油率也随之提高,确实值得各棕油行业者参考及採用。
他估计国内有约150间旧棕油厂,还在採用旧式的系统在运作,若是这些工厂要改革或是提昇,不妨参考这间已有41年历史的棕油厂。自从採用人工智能技术后,绩效立即变好,一年下来预计可以省下260万令吉开销,这包括成本、劳力、能源开销、杂费、管理费等。
“AIREI 私人有限公司与巴西公司跨国合作开发,目前已经在上述棕油厂试跑一个月的人工智能系统,成绩斐然,但这一点是不够的,我们必须要持续的稳定性,因此,我将会每三个月前来该厂视察成果。”
他欢迎有兴趣的棕油厂家可以联络其部门,以安排参观该棕油厂的人工智能系统运作。
他说,大马虽是世界上第二大的棕油输出国,但是在採用先进技术处理棕油却是全球领跑,若是全国的棕油厂皆採用这配套新技术,将可减少榨压鲜果油的损失,生产量增加。
他补充,如果工厂还需要用到外劳,这些人力可以去做3D工作(脏Dirty、累Difficult及险Dangerous)。本地人可以训练操作智能系统,薪酬也更高。

KUALA KANGSAR: A palm oil mill here operating for 41 years has been transformed into a smart facility utilising artificial intelligence (AI).
The facility – Minsawi Industries Kuala Kangsar Sdn Bhd in partnership with technology provider Artificial Intelligence Robotics Engineering Industries (AIREI) – was launched by Plantation and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani.
Johari said there were 446 palm oil mills in the country, and that this mill is the first in the world to use this new technology in the processing of palm oil.
He said the mill, which is not new but has been in existence for a long time, had invested between RM4mil and RM5mil for this technology.
“This factory uses AI incorporated in its sensors, technology advancement and in some of the predictive tools to process palm oil.
“If the technology is effective, then it must be seen by all stakeholders in the industry,” he told reporters after launching the AI-based smart mill here Tuesday (Nov 19).
Among those present is Airei Sdn Bhd founder and chief executive officer, K. Surendran.
Johari said he was informed that this palm oil mill could reduce its workforce, especially foreign labour between 30% and 35%.
He said, if this large mill could reduce workforce and secure efficient oil extraction, it would lead to cost-effective methods in increasing income and maximising production.
“I want to support this technology, and every three months, I will monitor its effectiveness,” he said.
Johari said energy, water, utilities and workforce could be reduced with the use of this new technology.
He said if all 446 palm oil mills adopted this technology, foreign workers could be reduced by almost 8,000.
“This company developed the technology, and also uses some technology from Brazil, and this mill has been using it for more than a month.
“Although this mill spent a lot for the implementation of the technology, their yearly savings can come up to RM2.6mil.
“I will bring the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) from time to time for visits to this mill to see the progress. This technology must be sustainable,” he added.
Johari said foreign workers would return to their home countries after four years of gaining experience. However, with such AI technology, locals need not depend on foreign labour.
He said if the need arises for foreign workers it would probably be for the 3D (dangerous, dirty and difficult) sector.
